Garlic and the Vampire by Bree Paulsen is $2.99 and part of today’s Kindle Daily Deals! I mentioned this on a previous Get Rec’d. It’s such a cute, graphic novel and great for the fall season.
A farm-fresh debut graphic novel starring a heroine who is braver than she realizes.
Garlic feels as though she’s always doing something wrong. At least with her friend Carrot by her side and the kindly Witch Agnes encouraging her, Garlic is happy to just tend her garden, where it’s nice and safe.

The Last True Vampire by Kate Baxter is $2.99! This is a paranormal romance with, as the title suggest, vampires. A few readers mentioned being unable to get interested in the characters and their romance. However, many loved the heroine and her attitude. I’ve read a few of the later books in the series and enjoyed those more.
